2nd ODI against Australia.

Aim is to achieve 2-0 lead in series

Every international team is focusing on the world cup these days. They are zeroing in on different combinations before the mega event begins in the last week of May.

Australia were in a reasonable good position when they batted but India struck in the middle overs to restrict them to a below--arscore. Australia did well to pick four wickets inside 100 runs but MS Dhoni used all his experience to script yet another smooth chase in the company of Kedar Jadhav, whose reputation is growing with every series.Jadhav did more than a satisfactory job as a bowler and finished the chase with an enterprising 81*.

The return of Shaun Marsh will further boost Australian batting. He missed the first ODI due to the birth of second child and also because of harmstring injury. Marsh was the best Australian batsman when the two side met in Australia earlier this year.

Indian batsman,on the other hand, would look for yet another perfect game. They have enjoyed quite a bit of sucesss in Katha, especially against Australia. They are yet to lose to Australia at this stadium. Even the score of above 350 was chase with precision by the Indians in 2013, with 'chasemaster'Kohli coming up with a masterclass.

The Vidharbha Cricket Association's stadium in katha has proved to be a happy hunting ground for Indian team against Australia,as the hosts have emerged victorious by comfortable margins in all  three ODIs played st this stadium.

India are likely to go with winning combination, which means Vijay Shankar will get yet another opportunity to prove himself as an allrounder . He has been impressive as abatsmana but it's bowling which will be watched closely by the indian teams management.
